Privacy Policy
At Baron d'Amour, we care deeply about privacy, which is why information that is collected and processed is handled with care. Only data necessary for the provision of services and their improvement will be processed. The collected data will never be made available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the webshop and the services of Baron d'Amour. As of 01/05/2024, this privacy policy applies, until the publication of an amended privacy policy. This policy describes what data is collected and for what purpose. Also, what are the conditions of potentially sharing collected data with third parties. In addition, it describes how the data is stored and protected against misuse. And, what rights you have with regard to the data provided to Baron d'Amour.

Data processing
Service providers who collect data on behalf of Baron d'Amour must comply with the agreement regarding the use of the data. The service providers include parcel delivery, payment processing, assessment and accounting. This means that the service providers have access to the necessary data to be able to provide services. On the other hand, this data will not be used for other or commercial purposes. Also, the service providers must comply with the privacy policy and the prescribed rules and legislation.

Shopify 
Baron d'Amour's webshop was developed with software from Shopify. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of providing our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have entered into with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information related to your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group of companies in order to further improve its services.

PostNL
PostNL is used for shipping orders. Your name and address details (Name, Address, Place of residence) belonging to the order will be shared for the execution of the delivery. This data is only used for the execution of the agreement. In addition, when subcontractors are used, PostNL makes the data available to this party.

E-boekhouden
E-bookkeeping is used for administration and accounting. Your name and address details (Name, Address, Place of residence) belonging to the order will be shared for the administration of sales invoices. This data is sent and stored protected. In addition, E-bookkeeping is obliged to maintain confidentiality, and the data must be treated confidentially. In addition, the data will not be used for purposes other than those described above.

WebwinkelKeur
We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and e-mail address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us, so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and e-mail address with WebwinkelKeur. They only use this data for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties for the purpose of providing the service, for which we have given WebwinkelKeur permission. All the above-mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of  of the service for which WebwinkelKeur engages third parties.

Rights
On the basis of the applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below we explain what these rights are and how you can invoke them. In principle, in order to prevent misuse, we will only send copies of your data to your e-mail address already known to us. In the event that you wish to receive the data at a different e-mail address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of completed requests, in the case of a request to be forgotten we administer anonymized data. All statements and copies of data will be sent to you in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems. You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at any time if you suspect that we are using your personal data in an incorrect way.

Right of access
You always have the right to inspect the data that we process (or have processed) and that relate to your person or can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data at the e-mail address known to us, with an overview of the processors who hold this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data.

If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address known to us that the data has been amended.

Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the data that we process (or have processed) that relate to your person or can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to object and other rights
In some cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Baron d'Amour. If you object, we will immediately cease processing data pending the resolution of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will send copies and/or

make copies of the data that we process (or have processed) available to you and then permanently cease the processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. The Baron d'Amour web store uses cookies. In addition, third-party cookies may only be placed if they have been enabled by us. This will only relate to and support the Baron d'Amour web store.

Baron d'Amour has the right to change or otherwise adjust the privacy policy at any time. The most current version of the privacy policy is available at all times via the page: Privacy Policy. If the changed privacy policy affects previously collected data, you will be notified by e-mail.
